Visit to the Shore

We plan to leave the country June 14, so this visit to the Shore will be our last for a couple years.  My brother just moved to this house on the water so this is where we spent most of our time.  The kids loved paddling around and enjoying their cousins.  Although they do not have much time together their bond is so sweet.

I gave them money and sent them to the Corner Bakery.  They were shocked I was allowing them to go alone.  I said y'all better act right or you know someone will call and let me know!! #smalltownlife




It was so windy but we laid on the beach for a while anyway.

Tanners

The first thing we did when we left our training was eat Vietnamese food!  It was so delicious.  Remember we were coming off of 7 weeks of cafeteria food!  Our first meal out was very important!!

The second thing that we did was meet the Tanners (Erica was my college roomie and has remained a very good friend) for some fun and more food.  We took the kids to a trampoline park and then enjoyed dinner at a Mexican restaurant nearby.

Training

We had a great time at our 7 week training.  Week 1 was quarantine week so the kids brought hammocks and enjoyed our outside space.  Weeks 2-7 were packed full but we learned a lot and made so many amazing friends.

Bruce's Graduation

Bruce graduated with his Masters from NOBTS.  We are so proud of him!!

 

Mother’s Day

The kids spoiled me on Mother's Day. And the cafeteria served dessert!!

I wanted to find the earliest pic I could of me with all three kids.

I loved seeing their creativity this year as we were not allowed to leave campus to shop for gifts.

Time with Family

One of our favorite activities in NW Louisiana is the climbing gym.

They were so excited to be in town for crawfish season!

Resurrection Day

We enjoyed Easter weekend with family in Louisiana.  

We even were able to walk through stations of the cross with all the cousins.
