My first Tea

I attended my first tea today!  Something I imagine I will be doing more often in the future.  This tea was a time to pray for the lost in CA and for those working there.  I was humbled by God's grace in bringing me to salvation and the great responsibility I have to make known his grace among the nations.  I pray that God would teach me to cry out in desperation for those who don't know Him.
Thank you, ladies, for such an awesome time in prayer and fellowship!

a little bit of tea, a lot of sugar :)

Enjoying Fall

Marce and I went out and about today to take pictures of the foliage.  She told me to "wear makeup" which I completely didn't understand since the purpose of our outing was to photograph the leaves!  Anyway, I obliged.  We were supposed to go out while my kids were napping but Eli did not cooperate so he joined us.  Enjoy the pics...

I know drool shouldn't be in pics but it just wouldn't be right if I
didn't have some reminders of just how drooly this child has been!

One Pampered Chef

Boy, am I spoiled!!
When we left New Orleans we got rid of A LOT of stuff.  I kept some of my kitchen supplies that I thought I would take with me to CA but since it was still a ways off I wasn't really sure of what I would need.  As our departure is getting closer I'm learning more about what I need to take and what I can find there.  I realized that I gave away things that I should have packed.  You know the typical, "hind sight is 20-20."  I was expressing this to my sister over the phone and she said, "We can throw you a shower!"  We had to rush off the phone and I didn't think anymore about it.  She called back later that evening and said, "It's booked.  We're doing a Pampered Chef party!"  I was overwhelmed.  You'll hear this word a lot on my blog b/c I'm constantly amazed at how God blesses our family.
We had the party tonight and it was so good to fellowship with the ladies from my hometown.  Once again I was overwhelmed at the generousity of my brothers and sisters partnering with us.  Thank you for your support OBC!
Here are the OBC ladies!
As you can see, Lil aspires to become a consultant and was practicing her demo!

Celebration

Bruce and I were thrilled to celebrate the start of a new journey for our family last week.  We were overwhelmed by the support of our friends and family.  We had around fifty people in attendance!
Here's half the group!
